When planning a water leak detection or drain unblocking visit in Fatih, we discuss access to the work area alongside the fault itself. Tell us the address, the affected area, and the access points that can be opened so we can determine the preparation needed for the inspection.

Let us plan the inspection area together
Whether a leak shows up in another flat, a connection inside a cabinet needs to be reached, or a drain entry lies in a shared area, each situation calls for different preparation. Before the visit, we discuss how to contact the relevant people and gain access to the space.
If there is a concealed connection, an inaccessible pipe run, or a need to inspect a separate flat, the scope of the job may change. Before moving on to any extra work, we explain what the inspection and fee will be. We do not make a firm promise regarding breaking surfaces or dismantling fixtures before seeing the access requirements.
We price by job scope rather than district name
| Service | Fee | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Water leak detection | 3,000 TL | Inspected flat; detection only |
| Kitchen / washbasin drain | 3,000 TL | Each independent flat line |
| Shower / floor drain | 3,000 TL | Each independent flat line |
| Toilet / WC drain | 3,500 TL | Each independent flat line |
| Wall-hung toilet drain | 4,000 TL | Each independent flat line |
| Kitchen / washbasin / shower main line | 4,500 TL | Shared building line for these drains |
| Toilet main line | 5,500 TL | Shared building line connected to the toilet |
| Drain odour detection | 3,000 TL | 1 kitchen + 1 bathroom1 |
1 Drain odour detection: Per standard flat; one kitchen and one bathroom together; detection only
At your address in Fatih, the scopes above apply to a standard small flat and daytime service. A different neighbourhood name does not automatically create a separate price. Together we identify the fault and the affected line, and we explain which fee applies before starting.
Between 00:00 and 06:00 at night, 50% is added to the daytime fee. On weekends and public holidays, the 06:00–00:00 daytime rate applies. We schedule visits according to team availability and job conditions, and we carry out leak and odour inspections mostly during the day.
For large or duplex homes, commercial premises, outdoor areas, and work across multiple zones, we do not apply these standard flat fees directly. We review photos and scope and state the price before work begins. Within the same scope, the agreed fee is honoured; if different work is needed on site, we present a new quote first. For water leaks, 3,000 TL is the detection-only fee; repair and surface closing are not included. After detection, we quote any required repair separately and schedule it only with your approval.
Relevant flats for leak inspection
Share the area where dampness appears along with any suspected water usage. Because checking the flats above or below may be necessary, arranging communication with neighbours beforehand is important. The fee boundaries for detection in the tested flat, inspecting an additional flat, and repair work are explained on our main leak detection page.
We choose separate methods for clean water supply pipes and drain lines. The purpose of detection is to investigate the source and help pinpoint the intervention spot; accessing the pipe for repair may require opening the surface.
Access points and shared line information for blocked drains
If more than one drain is affected or neighbours are also experiencing backflow, please share this information. Work on a shared building line may require coordination with the building manager and access points.
Robotic drain unblocking, standalone camera inspection, and repairing a damaged line are separate jobs. Camera inspection and removing and refitting the relevant toilet are not carried out on every job and are not based on customer request; they are performed when the technician deems them necessary for the unblocking job and are included in the agreed unblocking price. We discuss the required work and fee beforehand, and we test flow in the cleared line.

You can reach Maryo Tesisat on 0212 909 34 97; telephone and WhatsApp support are available in Turkish and English. For e-mail, use info@maryotesisat.com. Rather than promising a minute-by-minute fixed arrival time, we clarify the plan for your job over the phone.
Jobs in Fatih where we distinguished pipe faults and leak symptoms
In Akşemsettin, wastewater was backing up into the lowest flat even when no water was being used inside that flat. The drain machine could not advance past roughly 6–7 metres; we provided a separate quote for the break in the main pipe and, with the building residents’ approval, completed the pipe and surface work. Read the full field story (in Turkish). Main drain repair by building decision in Akşemsettin. (in Turkish)
In Seyyid Ömer, there was dampness on the wall and floor without visible dripping, and the customer also noted an increased water bill. Using acoustic listening, we located the leak on the clean water line in the corridor and, with the customer’s approval, completed the pipe repair and surface closing. In older buildings in Fatih, we sometimes encounter cast-iron drain pipes. That does not mean every building in the district has the same plumbing system. We determine the intervention by looking at the pipe material, existing connections, and access; we do not make a predetermined fault diagnosis or replacement decision based on the neighbourhood name.
Access and service questions
What should I do if there is no access to the shared area?
Please arrange access with the relevant person or building manager before the visit. Together we can discuss the limits of the section that can be inspected and plan accordingly.
If another flat needs to be checked, is the work done right away?
First we explain the access requirements, inspection scope, and fee for that flat. We then plan the additional work based on those details.
